Spring 2019 Semester
The Syllabus for each current course is on the documents page.
I am currently teaching:
Math 10C where we begin to delve into the more abstract concepts of mathematics by using equations, algebra and graphs to model problems while expanding on skills that will be necessary as we progress beyond linear equations.
Math 20-3 where we continue to build upon math skills that may be used in the trades, learn to budget our expenses, work with investments and increase the versatility of our general math skills by applying past skills in new ways.
Math 30-3 where we learn to extend our abilities with math in order to understand how math can be used to help us understand more complex problems, deal with running a business, and help us make informed mathematical decisions.
Math 20-2 where we learn about creating logical mathematical arguments, and expand our knowledge of patterns to quadratics and radicals. This course also allows us opportunity to revisit statistics and better understand them to interpret data from the world around us.
Math 30-2 where we continue to further our understanding of patterns by studying higher degree polynomials, sinusoidal curves, exponential and logarithmic regressions as they could be applied to our lives after high school.
Fall 2018 Semester
I am currently teaching:
Math 10-3 where we cover trade math basics, review skills from junior high, and stress life skills that will help us to join the work force successfully.
Math 20-1 where we begin to learn the rigor of mathematical notation and it's versatility while building our solving , graphing, and pattern recognition skills within the fields of trigonometry, sequences and series, radicals, and functions.
Math 30-1 where we use the tools that we have established throughout our mathematical education to learn about new functions, solve more complex problems, and adapt our skills to a larger variety of uses.
It is a challenging semester filled with hard working students. I wish each of my students the best of luck throughout their course. If you need any help, please do not hesitate to ask.
